The Abruzzo Film Commission is a project started by Gabriele Lucci in 1999. The Abruzzo Film Commission was established in December 2001 by the local town Councilman for the Arts.
This was achieved in conjuntion with film, television and theatre organisations: the International
Academy of Image Arts and Sciences, the L'Aquila Film Institute “La
Lanterna Magica", the Abruzzo State Theatre, the Associazione Teatrale Abruzzese Molisana and the L'Uovo Innovative Theatre Organisation.
The aim of the Abruzzo Film Commission is to provide services for audiovisual productions and also to create a permanent support network for the audiovisuals productions.
The Abruzzo Film Commission has direct contact with local authorities, the local service industry, local film and telvision professionals in order to facilitate the use of the Abruzzo Region as a film set. |
