A Centre for Image Arts in L'Aquila L'Aquila is only an hour away from Cinecittà on the motorway. It is the
capital of the Abruzzo region as well as the regional capital of cinema
where the premises of the Image Arts Centre can be found.It is a multimedia conglomerate that is recognised across Europe as among the most prestigious centres for cinema and communications.  The Image Arts building, which houses the centre, is situated in a 20,000 sq.m
location alongside the Basilica of Collemaggio. The Abruzzo Film
Commission, The Film Institute "La Lanterna Magica", The International
